About Valerie

I have resided in South Florida, (Boca Raton and Ft. Lauderdale) for the past 51 years, and have a vast knowledge of the surrounding areas and the history and growth of South Florida. I have 34 years of experience selling Real Estate full-time and I am a multi-million dollar producer year-after-year. I have worked at Balistreri Real Estate for the past 22 years. The owners have the hands-on approach of caring about each client that does business with us. This is the high standard that I set for myself, and together, we strive to provide the best service.  I am very comfortable going as far north as Jupiter and south to Hollywood. I will also go west until the Everglades stop me!

My career has given me many opportunities and the expertise of the many lifestyles here in South Florida. I worked for Coldwell Banker, was also an on-sight agent at the Polo Club in Boca Raton. I specialize in Country Club and Waterfront communities.  I have a well-rounded knowledge of both, public and private schools, and the college life that is offered here in Palm Beach and Broward County.

 I designed and built my own custom home, which affords me the knowledge to help a client with new construction or remodeling an older home.  My hands-on experience also helps clients when deciding on site selection, upgrades, pools, architectural changes and much more. I have a vast knowledge of many home types such as single-family homes, townhomes and condominiums and have sold properties from $100,000 to multi-million dollar estates. I can educate a client on the value of the land that a home is situated on and the value of the location of communities in South Florida. LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! This knowledge helps the client realize the different values of homes in different locations and the escalation of its value and ease of resale in the future. Whether you desire to be on the ocean front, Intracoastal, deep-water lot, or a community with golf and tennis, I have the knowledge to help you find that perfect home. I also enjoy helping clients find that second home for the winter months or their future retirement.

South Florida offers a variety of 55+ communities, many offering that country club lifestyle with and without memberships. My goal with every client is to help them find a home they love coming home to and that suits their lifestyle here in Paradise. I actively play golf and often enjoy a round of golf with my clients. I can be seen swinging my clubs at many Charity events in which I support the cause. Many of my clients become good friends who have bought and sold properties with me over their lifetime. They have also referred to many of their family and friends over the years, which I am truly thankful for.

In addition to my for love golf, I also enjoy yoga, snow skiing, and deep-sea fishing. I frequently attend yoga with a group for the Veterans of our country. We started the first yoga class for these men and women and have found it very successful with helping them deal with PTSD. Our group has expanded over the U.S. including all branches of the service. I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Bachelor of Arts.

Real Estate is a passion of mine. I continually educate myself on the most recent changes in the real estate industry, such as rules and regulations, changes in insurance and the vast expansion in the surrounding cities. Many cities in Palm Beach and Broward County are being redeveloped with wonderful restaurants, entertainment and new communities.
